This multimedia piece is made of three layers of glass in a black shadow box frame (13”x13”x1.25”) The back layer is a mirror surface with vertical stripes of holographic film surrounded with a thick white matt. The middle layer has an series of vertical strips of holographic film, offset from the layer below. The outermost surface of glass has a layer of multiple mica colored resins creating a dynamic and colorful, three dimensional effect that changes as the viewing angle changes.
