Black acrylic paint pattern over a 12"x36"x1.5" stretched gesso canvas. Black pattern is then covered in a very light blue tinted layer of transparent resin. Then another layer of colored (two blended colors) of acrylic paint is added in a pattern that shifts from the black pattern om the canvas below. That layer of acrylic paint is distressed, further showing the underlying black pattern. The piece is then covered with a final layer of clear epoxy resin. With the multiple layers, it creates a thin three dimensional effect. Canvas is mounted in a thin black aluminum floating frame.
